Ayurvedic Massage is a traditional, holistic, and natural healing system. This method has been followed since the age of the Hindu gods & goddesses, and is the oldest massage healing method in the East. Ayurvedic massage directly interacts with the Five Elements:  Air, Space, Earth, Fire & Water. These are the elements that create doshas (Vatta, Pitta & Kapha) which provide balance among body, mind and spirit. But without a good understanding of the Five Elements & Doshas in the body, Ayurvedic Massage cannot be understood. So, it is highly suggested to get certified in this method before providing Ayurvedic massage services.

During the Ayurvedic massage training period, our expert teachers will show you how to select the precise medicinal herbal oil that corresponds to a particular imbalance in the body.  The therapeutic techniques of this method are quite powerful. You will learn how to provide treatment according to the Five Elements, which helps to balance all of the doshas and rejuvenate the body, mind, and soul. The courses that you learn here will train you how to effectively treat underlying imbalances that are causing health issues.

Swedish Massage, also known as Classical Swedish Massage, was developed by professor PEHR HENRIK LING in the 18th century. During the 19th century, this wealth of practical knowledge quickly spread and became very popular in the West due to its highly effective methods of curative techniques for numerous conditions. Our comprehensive professional Swedish Massage Course is suitable for beginners who are willing to learn and develop a variety of skills.

In this course we teach you everything you need to know about the five types of powerful techniques in Swedish Massage: Effleurage, Petrissage, Friction, Percussion, and Vibration. After completing this comprehensive natural therapy course, students will be able to provide a specific role in alternative healthcare.

In Sanskrit, Hot Stone Massage is known as Shila Abyhanga, which means rubbing/massaging stones on the limbs (Shila = stone; Abhy = to rub; Anga = limb). For treatments in this therapy, we use smooth and flat basalt stones due to its rich iron content that retains heat for a long time.

This massage method is very popular in Winter season throughout the world due to its many health benefits:

  • Relieves chronic pain
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Calms the nervous system
  • Warms and relaxes muscles and joints
  • Plus, many more benefits!

The complete Hot Stone Massage Training Course teaches you everything you need to know. The therapeutic techniques of this method show you how to perform the appropriate technique depending on the illness or injury, and properly place the stones on energy meridian lines to balance the mind and body.

Reflexology is an excellent way to prevent and relieve problems & ailments of all organs of the body. This therapy involves applying correct pressure to stimulate energy to the reflex points found on hands & feet, which correspond to all organs in the body. In this therapy, vital energy circulates between the organs of the body, permeating every living cell & tissue. If this energy becomes blocked, then all parts of the body relating to the blockage are affected.

At INM, you will learn the authentic techniques of pure reflexology. We will guide you step-by-step on how to perform the correct technique for each treatment. Here our Gurus will teach you everything you need to know about this method and help you to provide services according to the patient’s ailment.

Deep Tissue Massage is a wonderful treatment where the massage therapist warms up the soft tissues before reaching into the deeper fibers. This method mainly focuses on releasing inner layers of tense muscle and connective tissue, using deep and slow strokes. Deep strokes allow the effects to penetrate deeper into muscle layers/fibers. With deep tissue massage, great results are seen for:

  • strains
  • sports injuries
  • chronic muscle pain
  • chronic joint pain
  • energy meridians
  • plus, much more!

This is a versatile form of therapy where the therapist uses their healing hands, palms, knuckles, thumbs, fingers, forearms, and elbows to deliver the most effective results.

During the training period, we teach students how to be conversant in human anatomy, the muscular system, and the energy meridian system for the best results. In Deep Tissue Massage, there are numerous techniques. Each technique has its own vital role for highly effective treatment. Our courses aim to select the right techniques corresponding to the health issue found in the body. This Deep Tissue Massage Course is the perfect step for those wishing to build on their existing massage skills for a full body natural healing response.

Shirodhara is one of the best ancient natural healing Ayurvedic treatments. It helps to purify and unwind the nervous system. In Sanskrit, the term shirodhara is derived from “Shiro” meaning head, and “dhara” meaning stream of medicated oil on the forehead.

The Shirodhara treatment is directly connected with the third eye and crown chakras so it is important to learn the whole system before receiving/providing services. The Shirodhara treatment increases the secretion of melatonin and serotonin. Melatonin controls sleeping patterns and serotonin is needed for cultivating a blissful, balanced, and calm mind. Generally, this treatment is indicated for illnesses caused by disorders of the Doshas, such as chronic cold, sinusitis, headache, stress, anxiety, depression, etc.

Acupressure and Acupuncture use the same meridian points. Acupuncture employs needles while acupressure uses firm pressure of the hands. Out of so many therapies acupressure is the best. It is one of the oldest Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques and involves releasing blocked energy/qi by applying fingertip pressure to specific points on the body. This is a holistic approach to reduce related symptoms in the body for optimal health. According to ancient Chinese principles, there are various channels or meridians throughout the body where vital energy flows.  Sometimes, due to discomfort the energy flow gets blocked, which can result in illness. When key acu-points of the channels or meridians are pressed/massaged, they release and circulate the blockage, which results in a balanced body and good health. The objective of this course is to train you how to maintain good physical and mental health.

Thai Massage is an ancient bodywork therapy.

The courses that you learn here will train you how to holistically handle various health issues caused by imbalances in the body/doshas.
